Katy Perry - Wide Awake

Check out this new Katy Perry track called "Wide Awake", included on the pop star's "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection", the re-release of Katy's much successful third album - Written by Bonnie McKee, "Wide Awake" is a touching mid-tempo ballad. One of Katy's best efforts yet! I am truly slayed...The lyrics, the bridge, the vocals..."Wide Awake" is such an excellent track, and clearly a 'single' contender. "Part of Me" could be catchier, but "Wide Awake" is meaningful!

Hypnoti-notico, Hypnoti-notico!

Check out the full version of this new Jennifer Lopez track entitled "Hypnotico", which is included on the pop diva's seventh studio album "Love?" - The electro-dancehall smash was originally intended for the debut album of Jamaican artist Tami Chynn in 2008. However, that album never saw the light of day and three years later, it's been passed to Jennifer Lopez- The RedOne-produced and Lady Gaga-co-written number is a banger! Loooove it! RedOne has further polished the production, and Jennifer has changed some lyrics to adapt it to 'her' Latino roots "Whine up your body like you're a boricua". Hot stuff! Sorry Tami, but "Hypnotico" sounds to me like it was meant for J.Lo since day one. She owns it!!

Naked - Dev & Enrique Iglesias

Electro-pop singer Dev teams up with Latin heartthrob Enrique Iglesias for her new single "Naked", off the US version of her debut album "The Night the Sun Came Up", scheduled for release in March 2012! The hot seductive club number was produced The Cataracs, and all I gotta say is...it's a smash!! Fire, fire, fire, baby! 'Naked' has some similarities to Dev's "In The Dark" song, so it seems she's reproducing her winning formula to get a new hit. I approve! Btw, Dev and The Cataracs make magic together!

David GueTTa ft. Jennifer Hudson - Night of your life

Jennifer Hudson steps into the 'dance music' realm with this new track called "Night Of Your Life", included on David Guetta's 2011 studio album "Nothing But The Beat" - This marks J-Hud's first attempt at this very commercial, and very current, music style - Did she deliver? The answer is YES! Although I don't see Jennifer recording a dance album any time soon, seeing her stepping out of her comfort zone is quite exciting. "Night Of Your Life" is such a killer track that if I were Guetta I wouldn't take too long to release it as a single. David Guetta delivers the cool party beats, while J-Hud brings her hot diva vocals on scene. "Night Of Your Life" sounds very Rihanna's 'Only Girl' but that can't be bad! The pre-chorus is everything!

Para-para-paradise!

British band Coldplay have selected the song "Paradise" to serve as the official second single off their fifth studio album "Mylo Xyloto" - Wow, this is absolutely fantastic! I see Coldplay are going for a more pop-oriented sound with "Paradise", and this is catchier too if we compare it to "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall". I have the feeling Coldplay will achieve better results with this new single cuz it's brilliant!

My heart skips, skips a beat!

Olly Murs has premiered the official first single taken from his sophomore studio album - The song is titled "Heart Skips a Beat" and features UK rapping duo Rizzle Kicks - It looks like the double platinum certification of Olly's debut self-titled album and the two Top 5 hits it produced in the UK were more than enough reasons for Simon Cowell's 'Syco Music' label to give Olly's second album the green light. "Heart Skips a Beat" ain't bad! The beginning is especially epic and the whole "reggae meets old-school hip hop" style is cool. Original and fresh stuff.

Jessie J - Domino

Check out the full version of Jessie J's new track "Domino", co-written with Katy Perry and produced by Dr Luke - The uptempo/happy/summery pop song serves as Jessie's second US single of her career - She's decided to hit back at America with a totally brand new track, after finally realizing there was no other track in 'Who You Are', besides "Price Tag", that could do something in the competitive and sometimes picky American market. But thank God it was like that, cause otherwise we wouldn't have heard this amazing song "Domino" is. It's hot! It's a SMASH! Yes, sounds very Katy Perry-ish but whatever, Jessie J has THE vocals. "Domino" has a great Dr Luke production, catchy verses and a killer hook!

Wild Ones!!

Rapper Flo Rida teams up with Australian singer Sia in his new single called 'Wild Ones', taken from his forthcoming album 'Only One Rida (Part 2)' (2012) - The American MC sticks to his winning formula and has created yet another club anthem! 'Wild Ones' is catchy, it's got a huge epic sound, Sia makes the hook interesting and different, and although the single may have somewhat of a less mainstream appeal, I have no doubts 'Wild Ones' will eventually become Flo Rida's newest global smash.

Truth is, David Guetta should have released this as the project's first single. "Without U" is EPIC!!

Rihanna has chosen the fun pop track "You Da One" as the official second single from her sixth studio album "Talk That Talk" (November 21st, 2011) - Produced by Dr Luke, and written by Ester Dean, "You Da One" has lots of typical Riri island flavor, sassiness, a hot production (the dubstep breakdown!), and lyrics that will get stuck in your head 'til the end of time. This has 'smash hit' written all over it.

Pitbull has premiered the music video for his club smash "International Love", a collaboration with Chris Brown and the newest single from Mr Worldwide's sixth studio album "Planet Pit" - Watch above! Director David Rousseau described the visual as "It's about the global presence of Mr. Worldwide, how he went from Mr. 305 to being a global phenomenon". "Now the world is his stage". It's basically Pitbull and blond Breezy dancing in front of a green screen as images of different cities, and galaxies flash behind them, plus sexy fine ladies work their stuff for the boys too. It's cheap I know, but they tried to stay in line with the song's 'message' so it's all good in the end. The song is hot though! It'll definitely be a club hit - needs a couple of sick remixes though - and a decent Top 40 smash as well IMO.
